if Beyonce did the "put a ring on it" song... I've heard that one. I don't remember how it goes, but I know I heard it. I think a group of us did it together in a karaoke room like 20 years ago

I went deaf in my left ear. Sudden sensory hearing loss or something like that. Good chance it never comes back I think?

Not so bad if there's no ringing.

this happened to me once from wax build up. I liked it. it was like the volume got turned down on the world.

the only weird thing was I could no longer tell which direction a sound was coming from

Sounds like 90% of the time they don't find any concrete cause. Probably started 3 weeks ago. I get an MRI in a couple weeks but I'd guess like 1 in 100 it shows anything relevant.

Other guy I talked to who mentioned waxy ear said that as well but I haven't noticed it at all yet.

Also thought people getting waxy ears and not realizing it was a myth.

THE EAGLES AND ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE HAD A FEUD. THEY SETTLED IT ON THE SOFTBALL FIELD! And on this date in 1978, ALL FIVE members of The Eagles played members of Rolling Stone magazine's staff on the campus of USC in Los Angeles. The feud started with a comment in Rolling Stone's "Random Notes" about the band and their softball exploits. Infuriated, GLENN FREY fired off a response: "Anytime you pencil-pushing desk jockeys want to put on your spikes, we'll kick your a--, too." The Eagles team featured all five band members at the time (Henley, Frey, Walsh, Felder, Schmitt) plus groupies and hangers-on. The Rolling Stone squad had Ben Fong-Torres, Charles M. Young, Cameron Crowe, Joe Klein among others. Tempers were running high (not, I'm sure). Eagles manager Irving Azoff wore a jersey that read IS JANN WENNER TRAGICALLY HIP?

The result? THE EAGLES ROMPED 15-8 with Don Henley on the mound. The losing Rolling Stone team contributed $5,000 to UNICEF as agreed before the match. Celebrities like Joni Mitchell, Chevy Chase & Governor Jerry Brown were in the crowd, all rooting AGAINST the writers. INTERESTING NUGGET: Before the start of the game, the stadium announcer said: "And now for our National Anthem."
