CC & I got re-married last weekend.

The first one was completely perfect. 7 people in total, on the Blue Ridge Parkway overlooking an amazing valley, on late spring afternoon, 75, sunny, with a few wonderful puffy clouds in the sky. Our family basically said they wouldn't come because of Covid. And it was amazing.

The second one was completely perfect. ~130 people in total, in a goreous church in town, then a hotel downtown for the reception, on a late spring afternoon, 75, sunny, with a few wonderful puffy clouds in the sky, 2 years (almost) to the day from the first. Our family basically said they wouldn't not come because it's us. And it was amazing.

Two people from our wedding texted us 3 days after and said they had Covid. We internally prepared for the worst, and started texting some people as a precaution.
But then All's Quite on the Western Front since then, so might have just been a weird coincidence.

Congrats on the rewedding! That reminded of my niece who got married a couple weeks ago. They had to postpone the wedding for a couple years with 2 reschedules along the way. It ended up being a great time.

TIL: That the word 'canned' in the expression 'X got canned' is an abbreviation for cancelled. All my life I assumed it meant "tossed in the trash" or something.

I'm with IBD here btw, can't help but think "can" as in to terminate employment derives from the idea of putting someone in a figurative trash can, throwing them away etc.

he said no hdmi cable included. so i said 180. then he said "oh let me see if i can find one" then he found one and i gave him 200 lol

but i don't have anything to mount it on. imma see if i can put it on a stand on the floor i guess lol

can't get it to work. my chromebook doesn't have an hdmi port

i tried to download the app to screenshare, and it wouldn't download on my chromebook

i tried to link it to my phone and my phone couldn't find any nearby devices

my chromebook does find the tv on bluetooth but it won't hook up to it

whatevs lol
