I always thought that was the whole reason why she chose the avatar. Given that this is a ww board and all.

I just basically use my tablet now and watch stuff on my firestick. for some reason that gradually led to not using 2+2 anymore. I dunno.

I do wanna get back in the swing of things here.

These thunderdomes look fun.

And of course sheep!

Don't want it to go on forever though.

Thoughts on getting people to give 3 answers per round and giving them 1 strike if any/all of their answers are incorrect? (3 strikes total)

Happy to hear suggestions of how else it could be run.
Yes please very keen

Watching dopesick on Disney plus.

Opioid epidemic seems pretty awful if it's telling an unbiased pic

opioid epidemic is no joke
12-02-2021 , 06:57 PM
Counter point, it was put out by Disney plus.
12-02-2021 , 07:03 PM
Haven't read about it in a while but the one thing I sorta remember is if you're prescribed opioids once your chance of becoming addicted is something incredibly high. Like 20%.

It seems terrible. We're regulated to our eye balls in UK & the NHS governs pretty much everything about what is prescribed. Seems to have protected us from this.

AND is it true that it was worst in all the poorest most dilapidated places? Is it still happening?

everything is worse in the poor places

you know that a lot of places in usa don't even have clean water, of course only in poor places.

and hell yes it's still happening!

I think it was bad in Appalachia. It was decently big in the 2016 election, At least around where I am.

Not huge news online, though.

Derwipok still sheeps a little but in general he doesn't post very much these days. I also miss the old crowd. Pyromaniac I remember as a comic genius and a really good guy, I think he was an English prof out west at Texas Tech iirc.

JacK Jack, he's a pyromaniac

Again, don't buy a TV less than 65"

I would recommend getting an LG OLED 65" or bigger TV from Costco.

Buy a TV stand from Walmart. (I would also say go buy a wall mount but you don't have the tools to install it).

I had a 35" TV for 25 years. I bought a 75" as my next TV and would go bigger for my next one.

Regarding the remote, just use the Netflix app built into the tv and chromecast from your laptop for everything else.

You can buy the audio receiver and speakers for your birthday or next Christmas.

Are you going to go full 10k bed yo with your TV or is this going to be more of a let's see how it goes before I lay out the big money experience?

The OLEDs are great but not for cheapskates (like me).

Costco doesn't really have any high-end options. All their TV's are mid-range(ish).

i guess if mark is telling me to spend the extra money, then i should spend the extra money lol

but why the hell would i buy a tv stand from wallmart???? im just ordering both tv and tv stand from amazon

i was thinking this morning my biggest obstacle to buying a tv would be i don't have anything to put it on.... but then i thought "i bet they sell tv stands!" lol!
12-03-2021 , 09:33 PM
oh wait... it looks like costco delivers tvs

this is so complicated
12-03-2021 , 09:36 PM
They might even set it up for you, dunno. Some places offer that option.

Personally, I'd go to Costco and look at them, I did that at Sam's when I bought mine.
