Why tf are we using this thread? Challenging eb’s authority is a bold move imo.

It’s good practice for ignoring him in the politics thread

Last night was my final night at work. Surprisingly I didn't feel all that emotional while I was there. It felt mostly like another night at work. I was there for 4 years and really don't have anything negative to say about the experience.

The plan is to hit the road no later than Thursday, drive 250 miles to my parents' and spend a couple nights there. Saturday morning I leave for Denver, with hotels booked in Nashville and Independence, Missouri (just outside KC) along the way. If there are any must haves for dinner in either of those cities, I'm looking for recommendations. Keep in mind though, that I'm probably going to be worn out from a full day of driving and that I'll have my dog with me in the car so it has to be take-out.

On a different note, I bought these vacuum storage bags and they get 5 stars from me. These are a game changer, considering I have limited space for the move. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MKQY3FS...roduct_details

Some of the responses in that thread are complete trash. I wonder if it's not possible to delete threads back from 10+ years ago

Deli, fanmail and I just finished the wildest game on mu.

A seer got told he was mafia by accident and thought he was some lost-wolf seer role. We all cleared him when someone peeked him villager, but, he thought it had been a fake peek or something and thought he was sailing to victory.

Deli was a wolf and knew the seer was a villager. The seer, peeked Deli wolf....but obviously, thinking they were wolf team, told us Deli was a villager. We ended up lunching two villagers before the mods ended the game and dvc thought this seer-village dude had thrown the game.

There was a lot of anger....until the truth came out as mod error

Was v fun.

Surely the GOAT game and/or puzzle is the eternal quest to maximize value per US dollar spent. And the master of this art/science is of course pog stalwart Mark K.

So anyway, I'm looking to buy a decent no-frills Chromebook for like 150-200 or so, probably will just pick one of the options Amazon throws at me and hope for the best. Mark K, any helpful advice you could spare would be greatly appreciated by this non-techie not-rich no-cattle-owner Texan. Thanks!

Lenovo - Chromebook 3 11" Chromebook - AMD A6 - 4GB Memory - 32GB eMMC Flash Memory - Onyx Black

$129 isn't bad! However, it may be a little too small of a screen. Maybe go visit your local Bestbuy?

Was following Google maps, told me to get off at some exit so I did, then had me get back on the highway immediately.

I didn't think it would do that even if it saved time

That's definitely worth a trip out into physical 3-space so I can see it up close. Luckily I just happen to be fully vaccinated and antibodied up. Maybe I'll get a free KK donut too, make a day out of it.

i was watching a stream of jackbox

i think we could play that on pog if someone has it

people submit answers to questions. two of the answers are chosen for each question, and then people vote on which answers are funnier.

I bought most of them during the most recent humble bundle. A good quarantine game.

RIP Michael K Williams.

OMG, I just listened to ABBA's new single. It's like they never had a hiatus. So good. Agnetha and Frida still have golden voices. Benny and Bjorn can still write a song. The Legend has returned.

ABBA has a new album.
Iron Maiden just released a new album.
Alice Cooper released a new album not long ago.
Blondie has a film about going to Cuba.

It's been a good year for Eric.
