The whole "nothing else has worked so we have to do this" argument is super bad. It is infected by the "perfect is the enemy of the good" phenomenon, where we do have police fired, sued, etc in situations where they would not necessarily be. It suggests that violence would/might be effective when it demonstrably has not been. It also wrongly supposes that everything else has in fact been tried.
hall of shame post right here

They’ll obv be gutless. They should just threaten to stack the courts next opportunity if they confirm.

They won’t. This evil woman will be SCOTUS. Our country will continue along its normal path.

If only the Democrats were able to nominate a good virtuous person.
Too bad those evil Republicans were able to beat them to it with an evil nominee.

Sometimes you gotta punch a ****er in the face, if for no other reason than to make people take notice.

its more just a question of if the democrats will be able to exploit an empty SCOTUS seat to get racist sexual predator Joe Biden elected by praying on the fears many people have of abortion being outlawed

Well, no, not EVERYTHING has been tried because I as a private citizen do not have the ability to force my vision of what true reform would look like on our legislatures, our courts, or our police.

Could things other than violence in the streets be effective? Yes but only if we can infuse our elected officials with the will to tackle the problem. And they have not done so as the killing has only gotten worse and more and more mothers and fathers and brothers and sisters have watched their loved ones come home in bags.

We can't even vote them out in a lot of places thanks to gerrymandering, not to mention other kinds of corruption and people who claim to be "pro-life" being willing to vote based upon fetuses but not upon the outright butchering of people who are living and walking around.

What do YOU suggest an extremely large but still a minority of people who simply can not STAND to watch more civilians get gunned down by people we literally pay with our taxes to protect us do?

Maybe one could get sued or something. That should help, apparently.

when asked who is the best rapper alive, kamala harris said "tupac"

is that a 70 iq answer or a 200 iq answer?

I'm going with 70 because when the interviewer said he's not alive, she said he's alive in our hearts instead of insisting he's actually alive which would have been brilliant imo

Living in a state where my vote for president is utterly meaningless, maybe I will write in Uglydelicious.

She definitely meets the good and virtuous person criterion. Plus the thought of Bird as First Spouse going around telling Washingtonians exactly what he thinks of all of them tickles my funny bone.

As only one idea, canvass a recall petition of the relevant elected representative overseeing the offending department.
