I've been predicting for weeks that we'll have a new round of lockdowns here starting November 4. Won't be national, won't be every state, but there are bunch of governors that have been teasing it and with multiple European countries locking down, it's inevitable that our "leaders" will follow.

Interesting that the eurolockdowns seem to be leaving schools open when an awful lot here haven't even reopened.

So yeah this happened tonight fot me. My friends were having this big bonfire/halloween hayride extravaganza because they have some acres and some kids.
Woman shows up-- she's my best friend's best friend's husband's adopted mother-- I've met her before but it had been probably 10 years. She's all masked up and I introduce myself again and she says she remembers me. And some younger kids wanted to know why she was masked and she says how she's high risk for covid.
I eventually roll a blunt and am smoking with her adopted son and she's like "hey what's that can I hit it too"-- and we're like "of course".
She's 74 and smokes her one-hitter every morning she explained to me-- whether she needs it or not. She knows she's covid free and I told her I have no idea, but she felt like the full moon would protect us.
