I'm not thinking about any particular issue.

The whole idea of "legislating from the bench" displays a huge lack of awareness of the role of the judiciary.

What is your problem with the taxation power rationale behind the mandate?

i am talking more about when Barrett was asked if she would take her personal feelings about how a decision would hurt people and if she should use that in deciding whether to uphold an otherwise unconstitutional law and i found that whole line of questioning from klobuchar, harris, et al beyond ridiculous

I missed this earlier. There is a lot that goes into my position on masks. I'm not opposed to people wearing masks who want to wear them though.

I didn't watch the hearings because their conclusion was foregone.

Can you quote the offending questions?

It sounds like they were trying to get a sense of Barrett's concern for the "general welfare" of the public, from how you've phrased it here.

I consider masks to be part of a dehumanizing control agenda and I do not consider speed limits as such.
Pretty simple really.

aren't you concerned that the State deems you incapable of determining what speed is safe to travel? how does your sense of autonomy endure?

what other driving restrictions will this lead to?

I asked you what is different about them that causes you to distinguish them, and you told me that you are distinguishing them without telling me what's different about them.

if anything, speed limits are more restrictive than masks

masks don't limit your conduct

Actually the opposite and I tend to find people more attractive when half their face is hidden.
