So much this, and it's really not even as close as your post would indicate

TimmayB has been warned for his post.

trump>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>pence when it comes to national policies

But there is still the issue of foreign policies. There is still the very live chance Trump drops a nuke on some country because their leader criticized the size of his hands.

The Optimal result is probably a sprawling crisis that takes out pence as well as trump and his whole mafia, but that's got to be very low probability, so a 4 year maintenance of the status quo, with trump in mar a Lago and golfing, and the GOP floundering around demonstrating their inherent lack of a serious platform is probably best likely outcome.
06-04-2017 , 05:13 AM
4 year status quo would be... not great but not terrible. but what happens if we get some sort of crisis in the next 4 years, say another 9/11-scale terrorist attack, or maybe north korea does something crazy. would you prefer trump's handling of it to pence's?
06-04-2017 , 05:51 AM
9/11 was handled about as badly it could have been... "exploited" is a better word than "handled" to describe how government reacted.

what is something crazy north korea might do? drop a moab on another country? launch a bunch of tomahawk missiles into another country? or maybe send in an elite squad of commandos to kill a bunch of people?

Yup, it's a 4 year long poisson communal holding of breath

My fervent hope is that he ascends to the presidency, then chooses Ted Cruz as his vice president.

Where did this come from? And, why?

I like you, too, Chuckles. But I don't see it is "random whataboutism". I am merely trying to show that politicians will say things to get power, to get elected, etc. I think it is instructive to realize that the same thing Trump does that liberals get so upset about, Democrats do, too. From my perspective, placing faith in the Democrats is not the way to get change.

Birdman, is it really that hard to say you are aligned with democrat vs republicans, at least when it comes to USA politics?
I mean this is a tough question. What is the Democrat stance on issues? Often they say one thing but operate another way. Do Democrats want single payer? Some might say yes, but then there are all those Democrats in congress who oppose it because they receive donations from pharmaceutical companies. I think it is important to recognize the difference between what people (or a political party) say, and what they actually do. Don't you?

First, thanks to those of you who stick up for this forum being a cool place to contribute and participate in, regardless of how severe our disagreements may at times be. We all affirm the value and dignity of every human life regardless of race, color, creed, or religion, or we really need to find somewhere else to post. We should not assume racist intentions absent actual declaration of the same, for there is nothing more disheartening than having a pure heart while being accused of having an impure heart simply because the accuser focuses on differences in policies to achieve what we all want--peace--across the globe and in our home and at all levels in between.

As to your question where this came from, I'm just tired of Donald's ****. I'm tired of him being all talk and smiles and not seeing policies enacted that he ran on. It's time to put up or shut up. I will reverse back to supporting him very easily. He just has to get it together, that's all.

well then on that "do it again" it will also be the case that it will take only one. I never implied it was likely.

If I were liberal, I'd really agree with you folks.

I'd be jumping up and down yelling the sky is falling and that choice will be devastated and etc etc but deep down inside giddy at how he isn't really doing anything and the guy who wrote a check to folks like Pelosi and Schumer isn't that far down beneath the surface of the guy who bloviated at rally after rally in 2016.

When has Trump done anything worse than an ill-advised tweet when his manhood was threatened? You really ascribe Kim Jong levels of psychopathy to a guy who won an election fair and square, not like the dictators get in.

Everybody knows trump is a vicious sociopath who will do anything to protect his manhood. He is worse than Hitler. I learned this watching cnn.

something I was listening to today had a White House official reporting one of the bonuses of pulling out of the Paris Accord was pissing off the french president, who P#45 is pissed off with because he has a more manly handshake than Tiny Hands.

So yeah, manhood threatened - make international policy. gg.

Just finished "Get Me Roger Stone" on Netflix. I highly recommend it.

Basically Roger Stone and I are birds of a feather with the sole exception that he is pro-choice.

So if you want to understand where I'm coming from as I post in this thread, just watch this documentary and see what Stone says and so forth.
