Saying the credentials exist and saying they have value are two different things. As someone that has eschewed institutionally guided higher education wrt your political leanings, I thought you in particular would appreciate the distinction.

Trump interview. Re: 3-5 million illegal votes. I didn't actually watch the clip but it's infuriating to me that in the transcript Muir doesn't actually finish making the point here.

Trump's next brilliant point was that the author of the study must be "groveling" to the press in stating that the report showed no voter fraud.

It's a transparent attempt at voter suppression.

I have no particular objection to studies of voter fraud, although my confidence in a study ordered by Trump is inversely proportional to his actual involvement in it. But, what I was objecting to was the interviewer not making forcefully clear that the answer to Trump's question "why did he write the report" is "to highlight flaws in voter registration processes, which is emphatically not a claim about voter fraud"...

I agree with the above, sometimes a person cracks under social pressures and ugly things happen. A majority of posters has at one time or another had this happen, whether in game or out.

Speaking of double standards though, I wish you'd take this charitable approach when it involves posters you don't like, as well as those you do. Because personally I remember you being less charitable about this kind of thing in the past. To me, especially, when I was struggling.
