This fish is called a triple tail. You can't really see it by the way I'm holding it, but the back fins above and below the tail fin spread out so, with a bit of imagination, it looks like it has three tails.
These are very unusual fish. They find things that float on the surface and just sit there by them, usually on their side kinda like a flounder. In this case, I caught them on crab pot buoys. You can spot them fairly far away. They look like a garbage bag floating next to whatever it is they are next to. You have to throw a live shrimp near them and if they are hungry they will go get it. They are quite often finicky and won't do anything. They will eat live (fish) bait but people usually catch them with shrimp.
As a bonus, we saw these manta rays as well.
