Level with me for a minute, for my sanity, because I can't take it any more: you were putting us on with that right? You're just play acting for your amusement?

No. I think the idea that Phoenix will be uninhabitable in 30 years to be akin to the ideas that Florida will be underwater and the Himalayan streams dried up.

WTF are you talking about? You're describing the opposition to climate change research.

Wtf is correct.

How many much money do you think is spent on climate change research vs opposition to climate change research?
11-24-2018 , 11:12 AM
https://www.gao.gov/mobile/key_issue.../issue_summary

Billions it would seem. 11.6 billion in 2014 and they've been spending billions/year since the early 90s.

Of course why would the government fund this since they are controlled by the corporate interests you think oppose climate change?

And this of course is just us govt funding, not foundation funding, un, and other international groups.

So?

You are all under the assumption that climate change has been supported by 'the world's scientists' who are fighting the powerful oil companies.

In reality climate change research has been promoted through massive amounts of government funding, with support from the corporate controlled msm, think tanks, etc.

nah

So what are you insinuating here?

That scientists in the field are lying about their data? That they're measuring the wrong things? That their conclusions are flawed?

Let's say that while I have tons of reservations about the veracity of any data, that the insinuation is that regardless of the veracity of the data, that the climate change narrative has been something that has been promoted and nurtured by the ruling class. I think that is something that should be fairly apparent.

I did give it all the consideration and deep thought that you did

and decided nah

It's ironic dw that you should come here and accuse me of trolling

Yes that is what I'm getting at

I've thought about it very deeply and decided that the last time I saw a weather report on Phoenix it was in fact really hot, and that if you think about it really aren't you the one being funded by shady corporate masterminds? I mean you can't prove you aren't. So it seems clear that I have to disagree with you and go with my gut on that, no matter how obviously absurd it may seem on its face, and how illogical such a thought process might be.

And how dare you, of all people, accuse such a thought process, disregarding the globalist overlords that are controlling your brain, trolling.

There have been instances of numbers being fudged...major scandals afaiu. I also think that in general if you throw enough money at something you will get the results you want. Scientists understand where their bread is buttered just the same as everyone else so I think it would be foolish to discount the role that money has played.
