Can I just say it's obvious then get really indignant like other people do?

I mean it's almost certainly just one random thing that has some fringe links to some other random things that people connect while not seeing all the random things that don't connect.

Can you explain why it should be taken seriously?

13/88 is a super odd fraction. What set of circumstances lead to this?
06-29-2018 , 01:54 PM
The Lincoln and Kennedy assassinations were a conspiracy. Look at all the stuff they have in common.

Birdman is on the verge of becoming a huge conspiracy nutter in this thread!

Ah okay, this actually wasn't the answer I was expecting. I don't necessarily agree, but I think this is a reasonable point and not one we can really argue over.

I hears a great term on the news today. Might be common knowledge to some, but I've never heard it.

Injustice collector.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some rogue Nazi pr guy.

This. Even if it's just some 4chan style troll who is doing it to be "funny".
06-29-2018 , 07:24 PM
That theory is not plausible for two reasons:

1) A "rouge nazi PR guy" does not have the kind of power to get a public release onto the internet without oversight. For us to believe that we would have to believe that one low level person has full control to put out a public release without it every being checked by anyone else.

2) Even if somehow we believe none of the DHS PR QA did not catch it, the ****ing thing is still up even though people have noticed and pointed out the fact that its ****ing nazi propaganda. So why is it still up? Where is the apology?

This is factually inaccurate, by the way. Not sure if anyone cared to point this out or not. Not sure if we want to do another episode of "conservatives demonstrate their complete ignorance of how the economy works" itt but if you want to go ahead and make a fool of yourself.

In other news, turns out Anthony Kennedy's son has lent like a billion dollars to Trump over the years. No conflict of interest there, though, right? Let's just move along...

Progressive ideas cost labor and resources to varying degrees (like most things)

Most people are obsessed with the dollars.

This is also an inaccurate generalization.

The opposition to progressive ideas is due to one thing: they aren’t profitable.
06-29-2018 , 08:13 PM
I didn't claim there was opposition because they cost labor and resources.

Checkmate, Nazi.

You misinterpreted my post. It was two separate thoughts. One is that you are wrong that the ideas cost labor and resources.

The other was an unrelated point explaining why there exists opposition. Your belief that they cost labor and resources, and Mets/Bookers/Zorkmans/Hannitys belief that they cost money is purely you and them buying into the propaganda created by the people that oppose it because it’s not profitable. (Though in hannitys case he may be the pureveyor of the propaganda rather than the believer)

1+87=88

1+6+7=14

The signs are everywhere!!@!@@@!!

I agree with that strategy, pwns. Change the subject to stay away from hard topics you are ignorant of, like the economy.
06-29-2018 , 08:29 PM
Hey now, if we starve enough people to death (maybe 25 million or so?) we won't need to keep providing resources for them.

Don't say I don't understand economics.

ITT I get assigned a belief and lumped together with three people with whom I'd probably not agree very often. Nice, that's nice.

Don't believe the explanation I offered if you want, doesn't bother me any.

I’ve always admired your ability in the thread to adhere to the axiom of “better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt”. Don’t ever blemish it but trying to include any content in your posts.

What is the difference between something costing money(/labor/resources) and something not being profitable?

Short answer is something that is not “profitable” is something rich people can’t make money off.

I’m happy to have a more technical/nuanced discussing if you’d like.
