Crime in Germany is not "way up." It's down. It is an outright lie. The democrats do not have to give any votes to fix the immigration issue. Republicans control both houses of Congress. It is an outright lie.

I climbed a glacier recently. Nevado de Santa Isabel in Colombia. We didn't get to reach the summit but made it to 15,400 ft (4,600 meters). It is in the tropics. This experience has given me confidence that glacial rivers in the Himalayas are going no where.

With regard to the child migrant separation, is the official view from the right:

- It's a bad policy, but it's Obama/Democrats fault
- It's a good policy, because we have to protect our borders
- It's not actually the policy at all

At most only one of those three can actually be true, so which is it? I've certainly heard all three.

Sounds like they are just arresting parents for breaking the law which forces separation, like anyone who may be thrown in jail or prosecuted or whatever.

If life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are unalienable rights then open borders seems like the only moral solution.

But for some odd reason apparently the concept of human rights only legally applies to Americans.
