It's been an issue for ages, his ideas are nuts though so it's unlikely but possible. There's a big confrontation acoming , and no one knows what'll happen.

Basically, with a majority of 1, there's more or less nothing that'll pass the parliament, so the options are bypass the parliament, give up, or change the parliament. Most serious commentators think an election is coming sooner rather than later. But it might well not change things significantly.

Trump's Israel/jewish comment didn't offend me, but i think it hurts his chance of getting dem jews who voted Hillary to vote him. Calling them dumb is as dumb or dumber than Hillary's deplorable comment was

It's much milder than what Omar says and you wouldn't call that antisemitism so im surprised you find this antisemetic

Trump is saying all Jews should 100% support Israel. That isn't antisemetic. It's an opinion that can easily be offensive to many Jews but it's not anti semetic

I honestly feel like this is the kind of conversation I would have with an elementary schooler. Even more scary is we have had this conversation multiple times and you still don’t get it, to say nothing of the fact that Trumps anti-semetism goes far beyond the comments he has made in recent days—for example when he called liters nazis “very fine people”. I also know that has been pointed out to you multiple times

Saying Jews should support Israel is not anti semetic

Saying israel is all about the benjamins and that their leaders hypnotize the world is antisemetic based on the tropes it implies

Trump called Jews disloyal. “Jewish disloyalty” was one of the key slurs that caused rising anti-semitism in Germany prior to WWII. Surely you knew this, right?

Now trump is saying American Jews are disloyal for not supporting US military support of Israel.

Trump did use a trope as a political tool which is beyond ignorant and stupid

Of course i know that and i said i understand why many Jews would be offended by what he said. It is using an antisemetic trope. But not in a way to be hostile or prejudice against jews wish is the definition of antisemitism

Are you reluctant to call trump anti-Semitic for saying and doing obviously anti-Semitic stuff because Birdman10687 isn’t angrily enough lambasting Ilhan Omar?

Is that how it works for you? Because I just am trying to understand your leap in logic. You seem to defend trump by pointing out other things other people said you found offensive. Like it’s ok for Trump to say the n-word because one time 2 years ago Biden said something also racist?

I have a hard time seeing "Jews should support Israel" as anti-semitic. If it is then it would be a pretty pedantic sort of antisemitism.
It's definitely all sorts of things though.

ok, i can't think of any other possible reasons to dislike donald trump

i mean he's never said anything else racist or sexist. and he's never assaulted, exploited, or cheated anyone. impeccable character

Disloyal jews is worse than saying they should be loyal--for sure. One is an imploration and the other was an insult--I didn't realize it was the latter. I could see that being anti-semitic less pedanticly than the other way.
