about the tv show
undercover bosses... i should start off my musings about the show by saying that i've never actually seen it
but it's on the tv at the casino, and watching it from a distance with the captions i think i got the gist of it.
capitalist parasites(bosses) go undercover and pretend to be workers in their business. they get to know the people they exploit. it seems like every episode it's a profound experience for the boss. they empathize with the worker and end up giving the worker they befriend 100s of thousands of dollars.
i think their must be some recognition of how unfair it is, and how these people the bosses are leeching off of are human beings, and when they get to know them they feel an overwhelming sense of obligation.
