I rely on multiple sources for information

And as usual anyone you disagree with is a pos, the tolerant left

Bog-standard right-winger relies on bog-standard right-wing fallacies to make his argument. I expected nothing less.

Left wing liberal is not liberal when it comes to people with different views and thinks its okay to call them pieces of **** because his views are morally superior, and he denies or doesn't even realize what he's doing

Right-winger who openly perpetuates fascist race science itt accuses others of being intolerant. Classic projection

Curious how you linked that article rather one about the disenfranchisement of many thousands of Native Americans.

You know other people doing a bad thing doesn’t make what you do less bad, right? I know that was your justification for why someone who you think sexually assaulted a woman should be on the SC but it’s a rationalization you need to lose
10-17-2018 , 08:08 AM
Also, Trump IS a welcher. That shouldn’t even be in dispute.

Please continue, I’ll stop you when you say something grounded in reality.

Here is what I thought was a decent interview. I left the contextual tweets because I think they provide some decent commentary:

I'm gonna go ahead and defend Mets (somewhat). Well, maybe not defend. More like not hate. I obviously don't agree with him on a ton of stuff, but I get where he is coming from on a lot of levels. I'm just gonna leave it at that.

Well, to be honest, it's sort of hard to drive there.

Just so you know this does not constitute “defending” someone

Sometimes I feel this way, and then he says something like "I think Trump is doing his best for the country". I literally don't understand how someone can think this.

So precious

Forgot to mention this yesterday, but Lol at this post being aimed at me after like 200 posts discussing the "merits" of "could vs. couldn't care less."

Certainly puts the lie to being disappointed/concerned/appalled/etc. with anything Trump says.

Yeah, me either.

I've been trying to come up with reasons like:

Believe government should only be concerned with stuff like the economy, not social issues.
Really do want strong borders and a good economy and winning trade wars and think he's doing it.
Are genuinely racist and misogynists.
Cult of personality.
Watch only Fox news.
Succumb to a con man.
Have been entrenched as conservative republicans so long they won't step back and look at what is going on.
Hate the libs.
Stubborn.
Stupid.

But, I've settled on this one:

They like to wear red hats.

At least it means he's dealing with me in good faith and not attacking me like my opinions don't matter like 90% of the thread does

I don't own a maga hat. I got some free buttons from a website though

Even if i don't think everything he is doimg is best, i said i believe his intentions are to do what's best

You are all convinced this is about his wealth. His wealth has taken a huge hit. If he did one term he could go back to making more money. The fact that he's running again means either he cares about america or its all ego. Il buy the ego argument. But not that he doesn't care

He signed the tax bill but the one he proposed was worse on the rich than the one that passed. I blame congress and special interests. But it's like the eyebooger birdman arguments, trump signed a better bill than we currently had rather than fight for stopping some of the loopholes he tried to close

Saudi Arabia wil be a big test. If evidence continues to show they did this and we don't sanction he'll lose a ton of credibility.

But we don't care about how they treat their citizens, especially their women, how they may have known about 911 in advance, how they are dishonest

We care about their oil and that they will help us against iran and ignore everything else

So as bird said, this is a big deal because of trump. If these businesses cared about morality they should have been boycotting these meetings long before this tragedy

When trump does call stormy horseface and warren pocahontas i don't laugh. I sometimes cringe. But i also realize he's appealing to a base that is sick of political correctness and ignore most of it

And there are now 7.1 million jobs available and not enough people to fill them. And thinking trump's policies have zero to do with it is very unfair
