If she came out at any point when Kavanaugh was not in the news and about to be scotus then it would not be a political spot and I would give her a lot of credence.

But she didn't and this is indeed a political spot.

Always nice of a man who claims to rage against the system to come out and say he gets to decide when a woman who comes forth about her sexual assault is to be believed.

Do you not think a woman couldn't make my same argument?
09-20-2018 , 05:37 PM
I think k they would be a hell of a lot less likely to, don't You?
Seriously, you are all about these hidden ****ing dangers and people controlling every aspects of our lives, and you can't fathom for a second that these powerful men are engaging ikn these sexual politics where they wield their power over women? What the **** is wrong with you?

All allegations of sexual misconduct involving politicians need to be taken with a grain of salt.

The Roy Moore stuff seemed credible because there was a lot that eventually came out. Right now with Kavanaugh there is nothing other than a democratic supporter being represented by a DNC operative with unsubstantiated claims.

If a woman was making your same arguments it would still be gross, just in a different way

The beauty of conspiracy theories is that they require no evidence in support of them, they just need to be plausible enough that they can’t be definitively disproved even when they are patently ridiculous, which I think is a feature to conspiracy theorists not a bug

The argument being that we don't automatically believe people in political spots is gross?

I won't apologize for being cynical and a think a little more of it for you would serve you well.

Also this does not meet the bar for requiring a thoughtful response, because it’s both selective with the truth beyond the point of reason where it is true, and false in other spots

The delusion is amazing though. Here you have a credible report of sexual misconduct with 7 years of oral history behind it being handwaved away as a democratic plot against a man who wasn't in sniffing range of the supreme court at that time, and yet, if you say "There was an interesting report on MSNBC last night" suddenly you're in league with the cabal who has brainwashed you directly through the television screen.

It's absolute babble

The way you are choosing to frame this situation is gross, and as someone as distrustful as you are of the media surely knows you can get a long way from reality without lying outright based on how you frame things

Cool, 'cause I don't intend to apologize for calling you the piece of **** that you are, and all the rest of your ilk who slander her character

Fwiw I would not automatically believe a man who came forward with sexual allegations against a woman in a political spot either.

Extreme political partisanship has a lot in common with alcoholism and addiction when it comes to selective interpretation and downright rejection and denial of obvious facts
09-20-2018 , 05:46 PM
Men like mets and luckbox are why women don't come forward

Do you automatically believe Kavanaugh's denial?

The fact that you see this as the test of whether you are being misogynistic or not says a lot

I wouldn't know of any other way to be impartial.

So you would support a thorough FBI background investigation into the matter?
