Again my biggest issue is that the world focuses on israel and ignores the war crimes of the arabs in the region. Right nowpop alestinians are burning down forests in israel with kites from Gaza. But israels retaliation is the only condemnation in the un
Before 67 nobody was able to pray in the old city besides musl ilms
Now muslims Christians and jews all do
Israel controls Jerusalem, the dome of the rock sits on the exact site where the 1st and 2nd jewish temple were destroyed
And muslims pray freely there
The muslim quarter in old city is twice the size of the jewish quarter
And in that area of Jerusalem, everybody gets along

Mets the biggest problem I feel you have in understanding Israel is that you treat the situation as being in a vacuum with no historical context. The reason Israeli actions are treated with more criticism (ignoring for a second that what Israel does to Palestinians is like 100x worse than what Palestinians do to Israel) is because Israel is a colonial project full of settlers. It was a common tactic during the Armenian genocide to use Armenian resistance as evidence that the Turks were justified in massacring them. You are doing the same thing here. Palestinians who are resisting being colonized by Europeans is not justification for further oppression. The land does not belong to Israel. If you choose to colonize a region no one is going to feel sorry for you if the people living there resist you. However, people are going to criticize the settlers for ethnic cleansing, apartheid, murder, etc.
