I'd still say he was protesting. The funny part is that it looks like he was just protesting protests in general and didn't even take a side in the actual matter.

If you don't get straight up killed, it's pretty standard Putin to give people 5-15 years in prison and honor that. It doesn't kill you but it kills you. You get out, bend the knee and kiss the ring(which might happen to be Robert Kraft's) and it can be send a more powerful message when people see you unwilling to risk anything after that point.

Right. Which gets to my original point that the most plausible theory seems incredibly likely.

As for false flag by "The West", why is mostly some pointless diplomatic penalties? It fails just like the Syrian conspiracy fails:
1) Obama sees Assad move chemical weapons around
2) Establishes red line, says if they get used, Murica can deploy a full blown intervention.
3) A false flag is set up by the rebels
4) Murica doesn't deploy a full blown intervention because ?????

For why "The West" doesn't want war with Russia there is obviously this(though now I suspect loons itt might jump to some Saudi hit job conspiracy):

The real way to not protest was to call in sick.

Failure to obey is the only real crime.

The My Lai Massacre: A Crime of Obedience? is an interesting article on the subject that I think is worth a read. Especially the last section on psychological elements of sanctioned massacres.

Kokiri,

I was reading more about the Skripal thing and came across a quote talking about Jeremy Corbyn and his reaction to it and the British media's reaction to him, and it was basically : "even though Corbyn is always basically correct he is vilified".

This seemed interesting to me as Corbyn is a pretty big name in your poltics but I know nothing about him. And most people who are pretty big names politically are not "always basically correct".

So what is up with Corbyn and is he considered anti-establishment and if he is always basically correct how did he reach his current position in UK poltics? Basically anything you want to say about him..

On my phone, so in short:
Old school leftist whose views are pretty close to what you might imagine a 1970s socialist’s to be.
His key interest is foreign policy - very anti American imperialism, to the extent he’s soft in some others like Russia. Was early on some causes (anti apartheid is the most obvious one) that make him look good, others not so much (the ira for example).
He’s got some unpleasant connections as a result of some of his views (chiefly the anti imperialism thing, also pro Palestine stuff).
His election to party leader was an accident, and he’s a big name by accident, so he’s basically a small time figure who fell into a major role in uk politics.

Twenty-one plaintiffs, now aged 10 to 21, accused federal officials and oil industry executives of knowing for decades that carbon dioxide emissions from the burning of fossil fuels destabilise the climate, but refusing to do anything about it.

They said this has deprived them of their due process rights to life, liberty and property, including to live in a habitable climate.
03-19-2018 , 07:15 PM
Pwns, that's fantastic!

What are your thoughts about it? Judicial overreach or checks on a broken legislature?

Class action lawsuit? If you snowbird can one still sign up or do you have to live in an inhospitable climate year round?

it's a suit for injunctive relief, not for damages
03-20-2018 , 03:07 AM
I mean it seems likely ridiculous obviously but we'll see. At least we'll get some rigorous legal dissection of climate change so that'll be fun.

What’s with this San Antonio parcel bomb thing?
03-20-2018 , 03:59 AM
i think someone is killing black people, so no one cares that much
03-20-2018 , 05:59 AM
Latest victims were white so possibly variance and not racism. But it also sounds like the latest attack was more random than the previous ones.
