ESPN Streak for the Cash...

I was 16-0 this month, the longest streak I've ever had in the 2-3 years I've played.

I picked Hawks tonight to beat the Sens for Win 17....
Spoiler:
Hawks lost 3-4, they played like **** all game and there were 2 moments under 2 min 3rd period goalie pulled where Sens luckboxed not getting scored on, so tilted, bad feels man

Hope Cohen beats me this week I don't even care right now.

reverse jinx didn't work, i didn't really want to lose

was busy with IRL and didn't keep up with todays starting goalies, would have dropped darling if I knew crawful was back in the lineup

ended up a very close week and if I could do it over I would have put more efforts into swapping goalies

had two inactive goalies tonight

gg cohen, close one

I need a comeback I'm on a hot losing streak

JM3's .4 point victory over me last week may have crushed my playoff hopes...

Stuck crushing me 32.5-82.7 this week so far isn't helping either.

gg maybe I can Aaron Rodgers this somehow.

I vote no Benj next year. Abandoning a team is like zero posting in ww games imo, plus he didn't even show up for the draft.

Intense matchup this week AK.

I forgot to set my lineup for the first day of our battle, If I had lost by 6.6 points or fewer I would have been so mad at myself for leaving points on the board the first day.

If I run the table I can finish 11-9

that's playoffs possibly right?

Yes GG. Today I didn't check my goalies. The one who I benched got 7.3 points and the one who I started.......didn't start........

glad this isn't for $$$....lol

Ugh, last week before playoffs. Going to be a grind. Kruze (W6 streak) vs me (W7 streak) is going to be the ultimate battle. Ofc, Kruze is automatically into the playoffs in his division so he could be a bro and give me the win

jk I don't want any easy wins. If JM3 wants in he's going to have to work for it

I set them like six weeks in advance haha. I do try to check on it at least one a week when I remember, though.

Still haven't watched a minute of hockey this season, so fairly happy with how the season went no matter that happens from here on out.

oh haha lol

Yea I basically haven't watched anything other than Leafs but it's fun to make changes from week to week based on who's playing etc

So I'm a bit confused by how this works in terms of tiebreakers & why Stuck is 3rd, I'm 4th & KruZe is 5th right now.

I see that it says head-to-head is the tiebreaker.

But I can't make any sense out of this...

Curr. SeedTeamRecordPointsv. Dudesv. Cohenv. Stuckv. JM3v. Kruze
1Dudes12-83,742.9NAE-1+1-1
2Cohen12-83,491.8ENA-1+1-1
3Stuck11-93,543.9+1+1NA-1E
4JM311-93,394.5-1-1+1NA+1
5KruZe11-93,457.6+1+1E-1NA

As far as I can tell, I should either be ahead of Stuck, or behind KruZe, but it doesn't make sense for me to be in the middle.

This week is Dudes v. Cohen & Stuck v. KruZe (& I'm up against Arctic who I'm 0-2 against).

So I have no clue how the different permutations would work, or why, but it seems that if Stuck beats KruZe or I beat Arctic, I'm in. KruZe is in if he wins, & Stuck is in if he wins or I lose.

afaik it's just top two from each division go through, regardless of your standing wrt each other. So Gamer and Kruze are automatically in in the West. in the East, cohen is in, and you and I are battling for the last spot. if we both win (or lose) I think I still win based on a tiebreaker stat which I'm not sure what it is.

I don't think so. See for example:

From ESPN Tiebreaker Rules:
http://games.espn.com/fhl/resources/...ebreakers-work

If the answer isn't in the below information, not sure.

Spoiler:
How do playoff tie breakers work?

PLAYOFF SEEDING AND TIEBREAKERS (Standard Leagues)
When your league converts into playoff mode the system automatically generates a seed for each team in the league based on the regular season results. The seeds determine where the system places each team in the playoffs. The primary factors which determine seeds are:

1. Division Winner(s)
2. Winning Percentage

In the event that two or more teams have the same winning percentage at the conclusion of the regular season, and have played the same number of head-to-head games between them, the following tiebreaking system determines the seed:

1 - Overall record *
2 - Head-to-head record
3 - Division record
4 - Coin Flip

* NOTE: Overall record is based on winning percentage. Therefore, a team that has more losses than another team might have the same winning percentage.

In the event that two or more teams have the same winning percentage at the conclusion of the regular season, and have NOT played the same number of head-to-head games between them, the following tiebreaking system determines seed:

1 - Overall record
2 - Division record
3 - Coin Flip
