I had a free period 8th period so i was sitting in the classroom browsing 2+2. then the bell rang, i put my phone away, and waited for the students to arrive. 9th period began. I gave the students their assignment "Read pp xx-xx, translate this, do the exercise, yadayadayada finish for homework"
some started working, some started talking. at this point, i didnt care, it was the end of the day, and as long as i assigned it i was happy. A girl gets out of her seat and says to me,
"Are you a French Teacher?"
"No, I am technically a Math Teacher, but they have me sub all classes"
and then, she asks ....
"Would you like to know how to say werewolf in French?"
Wat? did she really just ask that.
"Sure"
so she told me: "un loup-garou"
"Can you write that down for me?"
she obliged.
"Of all words, why did you ask me if I wanted to know how to say werewolf?"
"I don't know, i learned the word recently and thought you would be interested."
can't make this stuff up
