Talking about lost cell phones....

My family and I are currently on vacation. On the way to dinner, my son lost his gameboy in the grass outside our hotel in the grass along a busy street. (It fell out of his pants pocket while wrestling with me...)

He discovered that it was missing while at dinner and was one sad sad puppy...

When we got back to the hotel, it turned out that someone turned it into the hotel desk!!! (I personally am dumbfounded and can't believe someone would find it and then take it into the hotel and turn it in....)

My son is SOOO happy he's walking on clouds with a MONSTER grin at the moment.



I hope the karma pays off HUGE for whoever turned it in...

I'm sad. Canadian soldier died in Afghanistan due to possible friendly fire from a private security firm, leaving behind the cliche pregnant wife.

I've got a very good friend in Afghanistan right now. I hate hate hate seeing those article titles on my homepage... the waiting until they provide details is absolute torture. I'll be sleeping much easier when he comes home in October... until he or another friend goes back.

I was driving home from TO when we passed a funeral convoy for a soldier a few months ago... hundreds of people lined up on overpasses along the 401 for miles, waving Canadian flags.

The wife and I are back home from the hospital - both Mommy and Baby are doing well (Mommy was not happy to be going home, but she is better now - we only live 20 min from the hospital, but since it's not an easy walk from her room, it seems so much farther for her).

Anyway - thanks to everyone for the well wishes. We are both sooooooo happy and everything is going really well. Trenton-Mercer has one of the best NICUs in the area and the doctors have had nothing but positive things to say about Jenna's prognosis.
