They are near 90 so at least her side of the family is blessed with longevity I guess.
when we took kokirinho to see his great grandfather who is 91 or 92 or so, in a care home, the first time we went we were in this big lounge and we had the same conversation
boy or girl, how old, how much did he weigh, with the same woman at least three times. After about time number three, GGF, who is more than a little deaf yells at us to ignore those women on the other side of the room they're totally bonkers. His memory's not so hot either - he remembers me and my wife (it's her grandfather) well for some reason, but forgets other people a lot. And when he first went into the home, they discovered after a week he was getting plastered by 10am because he kept on forgetting he'd just had a whisky, so poured himself another one, so there are upsides to memory loss imo.
