Spent a lot of the day yesterday trying to see if I could play anything else/going through lines but couldn't find anything better.
I'm expecting 14. exd4 Nxd4 15. Nxd4 Qxd4 16. Bb4 Qxd1 17. Rfxd1 Rfe8
18. Bb5 Nc6 19. Bxc6 bxc6 20. Rxc6 to follow, which I think for the most part is forced. I'll end up in the endgame up a pawn which ofc can't be bad.
I had already analyzed this 16...Qf6 move and it just seemed weaker then trading off the Queens. I'll be putting a ton of pressure on his pieces and he'll have to defend precisely.
All the online databases I found only have games with 13. Nxc3. Maybe there's some forced variation that wins material for Black after 13. bxc3, but I can't see it and it seems a far better move because otherwise.
