Kind of an unfortunate blunder. My game plan once I was realized we were follow Aronian-Svidler was to deviate at a comfortable spot because even though the result in their game suggests the game is drawn the burden is on you to play accurately because I'm a pawn up.

I was actually a bit surprised you decided to follow this line for so long because I tried the Grüenfeld im my last few games which was obvioisly inspired by Peter.

I had prepared a deviation later on and was hoping you wouldn’t deviate first.

As for your last line, I saw you regularly playing the Gruenfeld, so I “prepared” this line. What I usually play against the Gruenfeld is not very effective if you can look up the moves.

Also, 25. Rxd6 still looks like a dead draw to me (haven’t checked with comp yet tho) and now I am obviously salty I didn’t play that, but tbh I wanted to win
