Anyone else having problems with the entry form?

I've changed it so I'm the only one who has access. I hope that means that everyone still has access for submitting the form.

I'm having trouble editing. I set it to allow people to change their answers but when I try it won't allow it. Anyone know how this works?

But final day for August entries is August 31st so lots of time to fix the bugs. Or, you can disregard the form all together and just put your answers in a post here.

PS: just noticed that the form says nobody can view it now. Changed that so that anyone with a link can view. There is no option for "view and submit". Would be helpful if someone could give this a try and see if submitting works.

I think I may have had too many risky picks in this first set. For September I think I'll try and include more "risk free" selections. Norm MacDonald vs Norman Chad maybe?

I'm back from vacation with just a few days til cards are in the air.
Still working on my list of veterans and those with incorrect flags on HM.
May also change the rule for betting against a POY - disqualification seems too harsh. Maybe a few points deducted? I'll have to hurry: the deadline for tweaking the rules is August 1st.

There seems to be some question about the WSOP Circuit event on August 1st. WSOP.com still has it listed but HM has removed it.

Early qualifying series:
August 1: Heartland Vicksburg
August 1: Hollywood Hard Rock
August 2: APT Incheon
August 8: 888 Sochi
August 8: Oklahoma Championships
August 8: Colorado Championships

Is David "ODB" Baker a veteran?
HM shows most of his cashes as 2004+. However, there is one tiny Reno cash way back in 1993. Was this ODB Baker or a Reno resident with the same name?
By checking ODB's birthdate, he wouldn't have been 21 at the time of this tournament.
Therefore, we'll ignore that 1993 tournament and declare his first cash to be in 2004 (post Moneymaker).

I've decided that disqualification for not picking a POY is too harsh.
Now, you will only be disqualified if you pick against the worldwide #1 POY.
For category POY, add +1 if you got it right. Deduct 4 if you got it wrong. "Pass" if you don't want to risk it.
Entries already submitted can be adjusted until August 31st.
The deadline for these rule tweaks is August 1st. On August 1st the rules are set in stone.

The following is a test to see if I can use courier.
The text is what the POY race would look like if only the 1/2K Big50, 50K PPC, 25K PLO and 10K Main event were used.
When I use HTML code it's cutting off the right side of the display.

July 31st - last chance to tweak those rules.
If you get disqualified for going against the Worldwide #1 Player Of The Year then you need a bonus for picking him (or her): 3 bonus points.
That should do it for rule changes. Card will be in the air in about 16 hours for the most colossal poker pool/quizz ever!

The largest poker pool ever.
I might be having a bit more fun than the rest of you because I get to write the code to do the scoring. Probably about 1000 tournaments with about 100,000 players. Should be interesting.

Also, who should I take on here? Maybe Norman Chad? We probably play about the same number of tournaments.
And if you are playing, would you like to be one of the 100 pairings? Who would you like to take on? Of course we expect you to bet on yourself.

Today sees the start of the APT at Incheon South Korea.

HM sure got back to me in a hurry.
They're not tracking WSOP Circuit Cherokee but they will be.
I also had them correct one of my entries (a tournament that I did not cash) but was credited to me. The correction was done within seconds!
Now my HM credits are correct and I'm ready to enter myself on the September list. Norman Chad? I don't know....maybe I should set my sights a little higher?
And I'm sure that some of you would want to get involved too. Anyone you'd like to challenge?
