Xander had a fun idea last year, originating in this thread, and being revealed in this thread.
But he has decided to not run it again this year, so I thought I'd take over.

Tell me someone who will be alive January 1st 2019, in fact PM me 10 people who will be alive at this time.

Some other rules

- HIGHEST score wins
- They must be famous enough to have their own Wikipedia page
- 1 point is up for grabs for each year of age on your team
- Age will be determined by completed years of life as of January 15th 2018
- If multiple people pick the same person then the points are evenly shared between them
- If any of your team is not alive January 1st 2019 then you do not score any points for them
- Reminder NO RESEARCH
- If a member of your team does not have a Wikipedia page or is not currently alive then I will try to give you a chance to substitute someone into your team if there is still time before submissions are due
- New rule: If you happen to pick the youngest person in the whole field, you will get triple points for THAT ONE PERSON ONLY.


Teams will be revealed January 15th and they you have 11.5 months to send positive vibes out to your team.

I like the twist. Stayed away from it, though. Wonder how many repeats from last year there will be.

I'll be honest. I underestimated how long it would take to get all these people's ages.
But working on it now. More than 1/3 the way through.

Just for the record, everyone's name goes into Wikipedia search as they typed it and if a page comes up, I use it.

I always default to a living person. If multiple pages come up, I default to the type of person the rest of their list contains (some people put all actors, some all athletes). So far I've only had one that I thought was slightly questionable.

There were 2 invalid entries, 1 was corrected. I'm going to give the other participant a bit of time to attempt to fix. If not, I have a decent backup plan and will use that.
