So it's my son Trey's 7th birthday on June 8th.
For obvious reasons, he won't be able to have a super exciting party. My wife posted something on Facebook & a lot of our friends & family are going to be drawing pictures & sending cards & making posters & such.
I thought it would be cool if he also got some stuff from random people he doesn't know at all - so I decided to make a Paint competition.
If you
PM me a paint or picture of any kind, that is 7 y/o appropriate by the end of the day Friday, June 5th, I will print it out & add it to the other stuff he's going to be viewing, & I will appreciate it & it will be really cool.
However, that's just self-serving & not really a game at all. So lettuce make a game.
THE GAME
Step 1: PM me a picture & say whether you want it entered into the contest (I don't want to embarrass anyone who just wants to do something kind for my kid but doesn't want to face public ridicule, although I think that's half the fun).
Step 2: The pictures will be judged. The 3 judges are me, my son, & y'all, & the scores of the 3 judges will be weighed equally. Trey & I will separately rank our top 10 (if there are enough pictures, otherwise top 5), & I will also post the ones that requested to be judged in the thread & anyone who wants to can PM their list of favorites to me. Trey has previously judged a Walrus category in case anyone questions his judging bonafides.
Step 3: I tabulate the scores.
Step 4: Winner gets an undertitle, if they want one.
If people want to pander to my son, they can, but I don't feel like telling his life story & listing everything he likes, so I will only answer yes & no questions, up to 30 questions total, no more than 3 questions per person.
I apologize for the self-serving nature of this game, but I wouldn't be running it if I didn't think it would be fun & lead to some cool entertainment for y'all. On that note, if you want to do a NSF7 (Not Safe For 7 y/os) piece of art, I will still post it in the thread for review, even if I won't be forwarding it to my son.
