Other than Well Named, who else are we about to "permanently" ban? Other than Well Named, who else are we about to "permanently" ban?

Not saying I am in the right, but what would others do if they were banned from 2+2 with no chance of being allowed back?

Honest question, so please do not answer with things like "not get banned in the first place"

Props to domer for figuring this out, the thought that dice was magic_gazz never even crossed my mind so to make the connection is impressive. I white knighted magic_gazz in his initial trial thread and I like playing with him but to circumvent a ban for a second time through a gimmick probably means he has to go for good.

wetzel: did you read my second paragraph? It is directly responsive to what you just posted

this

I mean, seriously. It's POG. There is no such thing as a permaban. Not saying if that's right or wrong, it's just the facts.

I really need to get out of this thread for my mental health

I think it's a super obvious decision, I'm not shocked that the culture seems to want to give chance #923 though

whatever, at this point whatever will happen will happen

Tuck my tail, but I honestly would never let that happen. Not the way that you got yourself banned anyway.

diceman: the correct response is to either keep trying to plead your case, or try to understand the reason why you got denied and figure out what you need to respond to, or even to appeal to ATF or Mat Sklansky

It really shouldn't be to just do what you want, although to be fair I'll say that there is some precedent elsewhere on 2+2 for banned posters coming back on new accounts, going UTR, and being left alone when they are rediscovered because it's obvious they no longer are a problem

So I have less of a law and order attitude towards it than (for example) dwetzel, but it's still pretty clearly the case that your attitude towards being denied was "**** you I'll do what I want", and it should be obvious why that would rub people the wrong way

dwetzel: hugs and kisses :P

I'll tell you what, I'll re-perma diceman if I can also perma domer

Deal?

Cross never broke games like magic did

VMF was a loud advocate iirc

Dunno why she was even banned in the first place but there were ppl that wanted her back.

in fact I did

I'm kinda baffled at the "sure, that's also bad, but let him back anyway" mentality, but obviously this is one of those things where we're all gonna yammer and nobody's mind is really going to be changed so it is what it is

I personally would prefer not to have to deal with trying to avoid playing with someone that has a track record of having a significant chance of screwing up a game through malice and then not giving a single **** about having done so, but YMMV

counteroffer: we let domer stay but he has to troll the Mexican soccer team before enrolling in any WW game and it has to be funny

Pretty sure the reason he got banned originally was not solely because of non-participation.

Did he give a reason why he didn't post?

Is there a reason bolded is wrong to think? When has a perma ban ever been permanent on this site? We just unbanned the biggest trouble maker on POG for gods know what reason. Did monkey bananas Previous permaban get lifted before he came back? I honestly don't know the answer to that question, I'm not even sure it was a perma but He was fine when he came back.

point of the post is about VR, who got screwed over twice by the same player in back to back games, a player that shouldn't have been allowed to sign up for the next game but did so surreptitiously. said player was modkilled.

nothing more frustrating to a mod than players who give up/get modkilled. if she knew it was magic_gazz, there is no way she would have let him sign up in the first place.

Unfortunately I can't remember what happened to cause me to miss a day in that game.

What I can tell you is it was not done on purpose. If I could have posted I would have.

Also I was not banned for non participation in werewolf games. I was banned for multiple different events that had negative effects on games.

If we are going to make statements lets stick to the facts please.

Speaking of MB. Where has he been? Is he banned too?

I get that most people would not have got themselves banned in the first place. Just genuinely interested to hear what people would have done in if they were in my situation.

Why not find another community? Why do you so badly want to play with the people in this thread?
