Other than Well Named, who else are we about to "permanently" ban? - Page 107

I like Quarrrr as a person, but he has been skirting the line between apologetic and patronizing after each transgression. I am easily open to forgiving someone who is genuinely sorry and tries to improve, but I do not believe Quarrrr intends to do the respectful thing at this particular moment in time, for whatever reason. The lack of respect for others combined with the lack of acknowledged self responsibility is why I think he may deserve a sanction, and I'm generally very laissez faire

Let me just stop you right here. Don't take offense to this but you nor anyone else is the authority on whether plays are +EV or -ev.

You don't police this claim at all. You police the quitting and strictly the quitting.

We don't want our mods big Brothering our strategical decisions, just our decisions that hurt the game from a game integrity or participation standpoint.

just pretend it was only because of the zero posting as a wolf if the other thing makes you queasy (understandable). i don't believe it would be remotely controversial or unwarranted given the seeming lack of remorse or acknowledgement that some people gaf about the games

I think I'm going to have to just say there's a "know it when you see it" standard regarding actively giving the finger to the games, and that Quarrrr satisfies that standard, particularly given that in his very last game he simply quit and was warned, and openly dumped his obligation to help his team in the next one.

Quarrrr will not be playing any WW games for two months. I think that he knew what he was doing and enjoyed trolling people about it. I also think that infractions do nothing at all to prevent him from doing it again, as public censure and his own alleged guilt and consternation about his mistake seemed to have no effect on him.

If I see him sign up for a game between now and March 12, 2015, I will simply ban him and lobby for some sort of massively long 2p2 ban. This means that game mods do not have the flexibility to let him play until March 13, 2015. If you tell him he can, you're just getting him banned.

Quarrrr, if you utilize a gimmick to play I will have you perma'd from 2p2. Please take the time to cool off and work out why you're enjoying trolling games so much, or why you're signing up if you dislike them this much, and come back fresher.

EDIT: If you come back and do it again, I will have you perma'd for that reason, by the way. It's all your call, and you're welcome to contribute to POG in other constructive ways.

I have no problem with the process you went with.

A more substantial contributor to POG might expect more leeway...but this seems appropriate given the immediacy of the past indiscretion making it less likely he "forgot" all about acceptable standards.

People are putting others on ignore, lynching for reasons like "you spam", "you troll", "Your mum", have person aimed fights for pages and god knows what else, now for those who actually solve the game, this ruins the game for them just as much as my poor decision to hard claim did for you. Hint hint, I'm one of the players who actually wants to solve the game, but I have never till now complained about it.

I said in the gamethread I was honest saying the point I'm being punished for was not the reason that I hardclaimed for.

And like I said, if I say honest, it means I am.

See this is where reading into a person would come handy, maybe somebody?

I'm fine with ban but don't you ****ing dare to take yourself a right to make a completely wrong assumption that I would purposely **** others over in a game or call me a liar.
