It's because people being suspicious and us knowing are not the same thing. It took maybe 2 hours to puzzle it out and now we're the precise opposite of hush hush about it.

So basically we're only hush hush when we don't know and don't want someone to get beat up about being someone they're not.

I played two games with thediceman. In the second one, he got modkilled as a wolf for not posting. Sounds like standard magic_gazz WIL.

magic_gazz was a permabanned poster who got perma'd by popular consensus after numerous incidents of non-participation and unpleasantness. There was a long thread about just him and a series in the grievances thread.

Today we realized that thediceman, who has had no rules issues that we're currently aware of, is magic_gazz. This is due to community sleuthing with which the mods had nothing to do until about 2 hours ago when I was told about it.

Basically he's been playing despite perma for like a year and ~ 6500 posts without any real problems or repeats of what got him banned, and he's been forthcoming today, but he's evading a perma from early-mid 2013.

We're happy to add this team cancer to our bucket of aids. Magic is versatile; he's one of the few poggers that can be classified as a true 5-tool player. Not only is he a team cancer, but he cheats, he's always wrong, his explanations are devoid of logic, and he's never fun to play with. Now, some people might say he has limited upside. Yes, he's already banned so it will be tough to add value with future aspy attacks. But we think this is the part of his game that is criminally underrated. We've already seen that he's persistent in his attempts to play in POG again. We don't expect him to stop and I anticipate a host of future grievances.

was burn notice where as a wolf he decided to claim wolf under no pressure because he thought the wolves could not win

did not talk to his teammates about to it. vyk ended up getting to final 3 in that game

the first game i played with diceman he was a wolf in a 13er and conceded on day 2

thediceman can be difficult to reason with at times, and that sometimes makes him a frustrating villager to work with, but I've played 10+ games with him and never got the sense he was cheating or otherwise disrespectful to the spirit of the game. I'm surprised to hear he was perma banned.
