Sorry, I forgot that Houston Street was a thing.



Sam Houston was a key figure in the Texas Revolution against Mexico. A city was named after him, in which several sports franchises, including the Houston Comets play. Pro athletes have Agents, but I knew that was a stretch.

Even if you guys had gotten that far, and had avoided Soldier (given Houston’s TX military service - but thought maybe the zero clue for green could avert that), you still would’ve had to have known that Houston has an annual Scarecrow Festival, which would’ve been a shock, because no one knows that.

In hindsight, I could’ve gone with Houston - 5 to keep you from trying to shoehorn in something to close out brewpub. But it never really mattered.

It all went bad when Garden was suggested. I purposely stayed away from a beer clue because of garden. I thought maybe brewpub would separate us enough without losing the essence of what I was going for, which you nailed (Pizza, Round, Check, but missed the largest craft/microbrewery in IL: Revolution. Of course, once you mentioned the assassin, I had to spend our second turn leading you away from it. I was hopeful that red was leaning toward guessing our last brewpub word, but that had the added disadvantage of you guys staying away from it completely.

In all, you guys did great with what you were given, I suck, I hate this game, and I think I’ll take another extended break for a while.
