god the controls of this flash game are terrible. I have a much better version on my desktop here, but it does not hold score. you can if you want play this game at 30x30 though so thats always nice.

these are all legit games, but they are .exe files so if you are paranoid don't download them. this specific game is called netgame

in the list it's just net.

if you like this sort of stuff definitely get the mastermind game as well, i developed a sick strat for mastermind by playing ten colours ten places, 30 tries.

EDIT:

ugh I don't think I can solve this in any remotely reasonable amount of time with no barriers and no locking

i don't have a clue what locking is but you can turn on a barrier probability. so you can have barriers.

anyway for a giant net of that size it will take you like 30 minutes or so to solve.

shift-click or middle-click to lock. there are more controls in the help. 30x30 is insane though.

there's a link to the manual next to where you download the game itself. i would guess those controls are in there.

Bump.

I became addicted to this game again, and a strange thing happened:

(Normally I don't really pay attention to the number of turns, so it's possible I accomplished this previously without realizing it.)

Seeing this and Durron's name made me think of dicewars. I always liked that game. I need to look it up again.

Dice wars is always good for a quick Risk like game. You can experience a game of risk in a just a few minutes.

Also good work Soah

So apparently getting better than one move per second is actually easy but we just didn't know it until now...
