Mystery Mash Game Thread - Puzzles and Other Games Forum

Welcome to the Mystery Mash, where everyone starts off knowing their alignment and the fact that they have a night action but not what it is.
This game was designed by xander biscuits. It will be modded by xander biscuits Ace of Spaids, ihcjay and iversonian

I got the idea for this game in a dream (no seriously) and now here we are. Who says that dreams can’t come true?
Major thanks need to go to UncleDynamite who gave a lot of advice when I was designing this game and I also stole all his opening posts for this game and then just changed the names and times.

Times and Deadlines

Day will break around 8AM EST.
Night will fall at 8PM EST.
To use your Night Action, PM a single name to the moderator and we'll take care of the rest.
Night Actions need to be submitted by MIDNIGHT EST.
Day actions will not be processed during the first and the last hour of the day and certain day actions may have an even more restrictive window for use.

Do's and don'ts

The obvious

Do not edit your posts. This is a modkill.
If you are lucky enough to find out then you can character/role claim as much as you want.
Do not directly quote your role PM. Do not copy/paste it. Do not screenshot it. That's a modkill.
Do not nightpost: :00 GOOD, :01 BAD, :02 MODKILL.
You can have 1 content free dead post if you want, but it's probably a better plan to stay alive.
If you are (or were) playing in this game, live or dead, do not talk about the game, to anyone, outside the game thread and private chats that may have been granted you by the game moderators.

The less obvious, but similarly important

Do not talk about subs and modkills.
Do not invoke for moderator decisions in the game thread. PM the mod account instead.
Do not intentionally edit the subject line of your posts (I think this rule is in there because of me)
You have signed up, so play, participate and have fun. We've all got real lives, but give a thought to those who have put a lot into the game before you let your side down by slanking.
If you have means of outside-the thread communications, do not posts the text of such communications in the game thread.

About modding

If you have submitted a Night Action or a Day Action, you will receive an appropriate reply from the mod team.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, your Night and Day actions are not compulsory. If they are not submitted, they will not be processed and will not be randomized. This applies to the wolf team nightkill.
If player A roleblocks player B and player B roleblocks player C, player C is not roleblocked.
You are allowed to pre-submit your Night and Day Actions.

Events

Events will either take place in this thread or if they take place elsewhere then there will be a link in this thread.
No event carries the danger of death or penalties if you perform badly.
Should you have outside-the-game chat, you may not discuss events there until they are over unless it is otherwise specified in the event rules.
Unless stated otherwise all prizes won in the events are claimable.
If the nature of the event makes it possible, all prizes will be awarded privately. When all the prizes have been shipped, an announcement will be made.
Play the events to help your team achieve their win condition. If this means throwing the event or other such things then have at it.
Players that are participating in events are ineligible to be targeted by actions until the event has concluded.

A note about win conditions

Role PM do not have win conditions in them.

The village win condition is: “The village wins when they have eliminated all threats to the village.”
The wolf win condition is: “The wolves win when they cannot be mechanically prevented from eliminating all threats to the wolves.”

Other win conditions, which may or may not exist, are disclosed to the relevant parties only.
