Moving Home Guesstimania Reveal Thread - Puzzles and Other Games Forum

Precept, irtm and I are all moving home pretty soon.

Here's a game based upon that fact:

Send a PM to me with your best guesses for answers to the following questions:

1). How many bedrooms in the 3 houses combined?
2). What is the combined distance in miles that these 3 guys have to commute?
3). How many toilets in the 3 houses combined?
4). Total number of lofts/basements/garages in the 3 houses combined?
5). Total number of years that these 3 guys have lived in the houses/apartments that they're moving out of?
6). If you add up the 3 house numbers then what number do you get?
7). The 3 guys want to go to their state/country capital city. What is the combined total number of miles they need to drive?
8). What is the combined amount of time that the 3 properties in question were on the market before these 3 guys bought them?
9). What is the combined age of the 3 houses?
10). How many trees are currently in the 3 gardens combined?

Precept, irtm and I are all eligible to play since none of us know the actual answer to any of the questions. I will not open any PMs until I've submitted my answers and I'll not gather information from the other guys until they've sent in their entries.

I'm gonna say that research is ok in a general sense, but not in a specific sense. You're allowed to look up things on google maps or look up national averages for things if you want, but you're not allowed to stalk any of us online looking for specific information about us or our houses.

I have a 34 mile commute (large I know, but I can get a much better house for my money if I'm willing to travel that far), irtm has a nice and short 10 mile commute and Precept has a 30 mile commute which totals 74 miles between the three of us.

So I've got 3 toilets which I thought was slightly on the high end of a standard number of toilets for a house and so I guessed 8 total.

Made perfect sense and I was still happy when irtm let me know that he also has 3.

I was less happy when Precept let me know that he has 6 toilets at his place.

Correct answer is 12

I have 1 loft and 1 garage, irtm has 1 garage and Precept has:
