I think this actually was one of the 3 movies we got to rent for free for a whole weekend when my parents bought the vcr - that was one seriously awesome weekend I still remember getting up early that Saturday and walking into the living room and smelling the new-electronics smell of the vcr

I answered Wedding Crashers this morning not knowing if I was correct or not.

If I was correct, I didnt want the thread to halt while I took my grandmother to her hair appointment (which was lovely), the grocery store (cheese was on sale FTW), and the bank (pensions...good times). I then went to her house for tea (I didnt eat any chocolates though as I gained 4 pounds over Christmas).

So obviously I had a big day (I reiterate, cheese was $2.99, cant beat that imo) and rather than people sitting around waiting for me to post a pic if I was right, I said it could be taken by someone else. People then took made me out to be the 'movie picture's thread' Jerry Sandusky and things took a turn to negative town (to borrow a Wedding Crashers line).

I bumped this thread the other day because sometimes it gets missed over and the game slows. I simply didnt want that to happen today because of me.

The first VCR I had had a wired remote.

Ours didn't have a remote, but you could buy a wired one separately - we never got one though as it cost almost as much as the vcr itself.

Breaking my own rule of not posting previously posted movies ITT - partly because it's getting hard to find reasonably gettable movies that haven't been posted, but mainly because this is one of my fave movies
