good work fnord - this looks quite complicated to run too. I've just sent a PM - which adds a category X (and makes the switch I suggested in the sign up thread for C3) - and assembles my 10 tracks in a table.

Pulling out a song from an amazing soundtrack. This is a good song but this particular one is way better suited to go with visuals. As opposed to say Tank, that is great in a soundtrack but can stand on it's own better.

This was submitted in the 2016 walrus. I think it has grown on me a bit since then, but I still have the same complaint about the child (or child like) singing bits. The music is good and I really like the rapping style. Also the kid singing bit is not as bad when there is more going on in the song than when it's the sole focus.

Here was my first impression:
The vocals are really strong, the arrangement is good, but the song seems less than the sum of its parts. I think the two parts somehow don't work together for me.

The more I listened the more I decided that the whole thing worked together better than I originally thought. Also this is a pretty heavy song thematically.

First off, I really love this bands attitude/energy/style/etc.
I like all the styles of music they are fusing together here, but I am not sure it is the best mix in this song. I listened to one of song of theirs that seemed a bit more... cohesive? on first pass. That being said I enjoyed this the first time I listened to it and it has grown on me more since.

I didn't care about bonuses but I did purposefully put my strongest song in a position other than A1 so that it wouldn't be up against the strongest songs of others.

Also joint last is better than I was expecting
