Also we may want to give more points for MC winner and runner up

by that time teams may have accrued what, hundreds of points? may want to give winner at least 100

but we can optimize that after the first few weeks

So based on some quick math it appears like there was about 1350 points available last season (based on 20 contestants)(not including winner/runner up points).

So I'm down to bump the winner to like 250/100 or something.

Also, in the event of a PT/EC/week no one is eliminated, are we still handing out points for survival or can we call that a wash? I'm in favour of the latter I think.

EDIT: maybe 250 is a bit much. 1350/5 = 270 so maybe 100/50?

I'm actually surprised Cassie was the first out. Not that she seemed like she could cook or anything, but she seemed like the kind of personality that was going to stick around for a while

Bill easily could've gone instead of her there. She was terrible too and her personality was also a minus, but Bill was just completely lost in both challenges.

This show is so overly dramatic. That's the only thing that annoys me about it.

I mean I'm glad we picked Nathan because despite the fact that he won't make top 10 probably, he turned out to be fun to cheer for. But blegh during his "people made fun of me" speech I was just like "God send him upstairs already so we can get back to cooking"

I had Terry firmly as the strongest chef not showcased in the face offs and I think that came to light yesterday. I think he's my favorite chef out coming out of Ep 3.

Nathan's speech after cooking Gordon's dish was definitely more cringe worthy than anything.

he seemed to be quite worried about his MB dish as he left plating super late again but he wasn't called up.

The chefs didn't really mention anything and I'm hoping it was more so misdirection.

If he steps up his food game there shouldn't be a problem. either he learned his lesson and will be a little more humble or judges will get past the douchebaggery since, despite what they say, this is a cooking show and #ratingsmatter
