slight nuance I think. I made my pick without research. My pick was filling out a perfect bracket in 2014.
Then after making the pic you can research the finer details. I assume DWetz' pick for the Kentucky Derby was the same.
To me, the point of 'no research' means you need to come up with ideas on to wager on/invest in on your own. You can't google 'best return on investment since 1990' and then select some mid-cap company you've actually never heard of that happened to 10,000x.
I know Buffett offered a billion for a perfect bracket, so that's what I chose. DWetz assumedly knew the 2005 Derby was won by a complete longshot so that's what he chose.
