beach balls is my favourite of those but potato hole is also incredible
I have many thoughts about taskmaster and I still haven't got through the full backlog, finishing season eight now
gad, do you listen to the off menu podcast? feel it'd be right up your street - james acaster and ed gamble getting people to make their dream meal, ends up being a lovely mix of comedy, great anecdotes and food chat
best first episode to listen to might be jack mcbrayer because he's a delight and it's fairly straight-bat to introduce the format, but my favourite episodes are victoria coren mitchell and joe thomas, both of which I had to stop listening to on my morning commute because I was laughing too much and people were looking at me strangely
It was the potato hole clip
Btw, the second season of Taskmaster New Zealand is available on YouTube in its entirety (at least in the US), and it is really fantastic. The first season was mediocre, but this one is so good.
Also highly recommend the first season of Taskmaster Norway (Kongen Befaler), which should be on YouTube now with English subtitles. It's absolutely excellent.
I've watched almost all of almost all of the international Taskmaster variants, and Norway/Denmark/Sweden are all uniformly great in their own ways; you can find subbed episodes on the relevant subreddit if interested.
Cheers for the Off Menu recommendation -- I'm not a podcast person at all, but I'll check it out!
