Oh, minor point I didn't make.

In most of her myspace surveys, she mentions this guy named Mike that she likes. Which is fine, I completely expect her to like some guy. So last night we were surfing myspace and she had a comment from a guy named Mike. I asked her if that was the Mike that she liked, and she said she didn't like a guy named Mike. So I brought up the survey things. She said she didn't answer those questions so it must have been an automated answer from the survey. (LOL).

So she's obviously full of it. I'm wondering if she's afraid I won't like her back if I think she likes another guy, which is just dumb, but christ Kirk, she's 17.

Oh, and when I told her she was full of it, she kinda stomped away saying "fine, don't believe me" at which point I pulled her back into a hug and apologized.

so i'm at penn state for the weekend, and I go out to a bar with some friends. there's this girl there who is really my type. cute, without being intimidatingly hot, (see pic of ex for example), sweet-looking, very funny, yada yada. anyways, we hit it off really well (i thought) and the person she was there with that i knew, told me that i should definitely ask for her number because they took her out to meet some guys. so we chat and play some pool, and \randomly, they say they have to go to catch the bus. I grab her arm before she leaves and ask if i can call her tomorrow.

"No."

Somebody that either:

1. Isn't interested and doesn't want to lead him on.

2. Is interested but is busy tomorrow and in the leaving confusion hears "can I call you tomorrow?" and says "no" meaning, "no...don't call me tomorrow...but DEFINITELY call me." She then later realizes what she did and feels like an idiot.

And yes, 2 happens. I have done it myself. He was really cute, too.

Someone who isn't interested never says "no", at least not in so many words :P There's more diplomatic ways of saying I'm not interested.

Which leads me to two conclusions. If a girl ever said no, I'd probably persist a bit, and I'd never ask "can I call you" in the first place.
