You get closer and she hisses at you and tries to bite or pull you into her fountain. She won't let you get very close, only about a half meter. There are a few silver chocolate coins in the water, but you're pretty sure the fascinating creature in the pool will try to eat you if you grabbed one.

You head east into a room that's completely black. You can't see a thing. The air smells drafty and fresh, a little cool, and it's blowing into your back from the door you just walked through.

You really can't see jack.

Exits: West ...?
Inventory: 2 silver coins.
Status: Zero visual input.

You enter a room with no other exits except a stairwell leading down. There's a coin slot on the wall. A picture of a skeleton is carved above the slot.

Exits: East and down.
Inventory: 2 silver coins.
Status: Normal.

You walk south into a room with a water fountain. A mermaid is sitting in the fountain. It looks like she can’t leave the water, but she also appears feral; her teeth are sharp, hollow and semitranslucent, and there are dozens of them.

To the east you see a room shrouded in darkness. To the west you see a room with a stairwell going down and no other exits. To the south you see a vampire sitting on a throne in a room with more exits east and west. North is the starting room with 3 other exits.

Exits: N, S, E and W.
Inventory: 2 silver coins.
Status: Fine.

You search the entire room, but find nothing resembling a key. You're in a room bisected by metal bars. In the east half of the room is a zombie and a door leading further east. That door's latched by a large heavy iron deadbolt. You're in the west half of the room. The prison bars have a door in them, but it's locked and has a keyhole. The zombie sees you and tries piteously to eat your brains by pushing itself into the bars and reaching for you.

There's an exit east. The west exit is deadbolted and behind a locked jail door.

Exits: West.
Inventory: 2 silver coins.
Status: Normal.

Search though you may, you don't find the corrective measure in your inventory.

You're in the starting room. To the north you can see a room with a minotaur and an eastern exit. To the south you can see a water fountain in a room with exits leading east, west and further south. To the west you can see a stairwell leading up in a room with a northern exit. To the east you can see a cage containing a zombie in a room bisected by metal prison bars bars and an exit leading further east. There is a strong breeze coming from the eastern exit to this room.

Inventory: 2 silver coins.
Status: Normal.

You turn to face the minotaur, who is looking right at you. Taking a step back, you lunge forward! Faster and faster with each step, you plummet toward the minotaur, who begins to grind his teeth and paw the rock floor with his heavy hooves, grinding his axe against the ceiling. Closer and closer, moment by moment you approach, adjusting your body for the best possible attack, a slight weakness in the beast's defense at just the right time during his weaving stance. There! You duck down and come up from below and to the left, attempting to strike his exposed sternum and possibly shock his heart.

He makes a grunt sound and swings his axe, chopping your head in half.

The vampire is sitting in a throne drinking what you can only assume is blood from what you can only assume is probably an expensive crystal goblet. "I don't smoke, it's bad for your health." he replies to your request for a cigarette, then glares as you leave. "Rude."

You search the starting room for garlic, but find none. Returning to the vampire room, you peek east to see a room with an eastern exit and a vending machine against the north wall. To the west you see a room with a sword stuck into a stone and a coin slot on the stone. You ask the vampire for garlic. He guffaws and his fangs gleam wickedly. "I mean what the hell, man. Are you messing with me? Would you ask a diabetic for a candy bar? A vegan for a porkchop? Are you mental or something?" The vampire looks like he can't decide whether to punch you or laugh more at you.

So he does both.
