Munch painted "The Scream", which is what the ghostface mask is based on.

sorry team, should've passed 4 and 5 at least

would've got 5 with Munch I think (Edvard Munch painted the Scream Crimson), having potatoes for 2 wouldn't have changed my answer

"Neve" was probably a better clue if you wanted to pick an actor from the movie. Drew was only in it for about 5 minutes.

6. sidewalk,schoolyard
7. (all duped)
8. Stampy,mastodon,African,Ivory
9. delicacy

pokercrazy can guess when ready
1. Should be Student
2. Hmmm could be Butler? Jimmy Butler does ring a bell but not sure where from, probably sports related if it's at the back of my mind.
3. Should be Zoo
4. Will need to think a little more on this one, not 100% sure what carrion means but maybe I can make a connection if I think of what the duped words were.
5. Maybe Dish? Can't really think of anything else. Quite a few duped possibilites for Dish anyway (water, washer etc..)
6. This one is annoying me because I should figure it out but drawing a blank. Quad/Playground are other words for Schoolyard but nothing to do with sidewalk I don't think.. maybe it's just pavement?
7. Obviously Carrot.
8. Stampy the Elephant LOL
9. It's probably something French food related, most of their foods are delicacies but will have to pass since there are too many to pick from

Feel like Nich's team benefited from a significantly easier list this round.

1. Student
2. Butler
3. Zoo
4. Pass
5. Dish
6. Pass
7. Pass
8. Elephant
9. Pass

We have no chance of winning anyway so should've just went for them all but no idea on #4, #7 or #9 lol

If I remember right, these are correct except #5 which is lasagna.

6. was hopscotch with jump/ing duped
7. was gingerbread
9. was caviar, with roe duped

I'm not blaming you, and Nich did well with the words he had. Just pointing out that the results aren't anywhere near comparable across teams this time.

Agreed that my team's word list was easy though. I wouldn't argue against any sort of ruling regarding that if other teams thought it was unfair

Rough set of clues and words, luke. Good work to get what you got.

I thought of that but she's just not famous enough. Distrusted that Neve would be read as a name and that she'd be remembered, but Drew Barrymore is hella famous and she was FAMOUSLY in the movie for 5 minutes even toughted as a star in the movie. So that's not an issue. Granted it's an older movie now so people that don't watch/remember movies didn't have a chance. But that clue with other clues would have worked. Ghostface probably stronger than both. I shoulda gone with that...although in the movie it's not even referred to as ghostface. Ah well it was meant as a supporting clue. That dup hurt

Brocktree is a character from the the Redwall series. Has a book named after him even. It was a gamble. ALso thought of lendri which is badger from watership DOwn but thought that was even tougher.

My other thought was fierce.
mammal or animal is too vague and would have led us to skunk in hindsight

I dunno man. I feel like anybody who knows that Drew Barrymore was in Scream almost has to know that Neve Campbell was as well. She was the star of the movie and all of its sequels, and it's not as if she's a no-name actress or anything. I could be wrong, but I think most people would at least know who she is, and Scream has to be what she is best known for. Well, either that or THAT SCENE from Wild Things. I imagine that Scream would be very low on the list of credits that people remember Drew Barrymore for.
