I should have gone with 'gasoline', so that's on me. I admit you guys got some terrible words.

I see how curtain fits with all those words, but none suggest curtains to me.

I considered a lot of mollusks, but didn't put squid together with ward that way.

I'm sending out round 2 word lists to 3/4 teams now so you can get started.

i considered bonnet since i couldn't see much else that made sense, but wasn't sure about it's french-ness since we say it with a hard "t". i thought it was more likely i was missing some obscure connection

i assumed someone else was going to submit cephalopod so i went back one another taxon

It's tough with some words that have only a few natural associations. Cephalopod, calamari, tentacle are easily duplicated. Maybe Kraken. For albatross, I might have tried Rime.

I don't think any team could've gotten fruitcake though. Really tough word. Shame about brush/paintbrush as well.

I said gymnasium for dodgeball and I forgot the rule for dupes meant that'd also dupe with gym and apparently... whatever a globo-gym is.
