All correct I think except Reptile.

I think "Vowels" was a great clue

Yeah it was iguana. Rest are correct. Tough one, so many dupes.

3 was blacksmith
7 was ramen
8 was goldfish

what's the rule about saying a plural if it isn't plural and viceversa

Seems to be acceptable.

BTW good job on eggplant, I never would've gotten that as I've never heard the word aubergine before. Purple was triped there.

purple was my clue for grape as well

Like saying Geese if the word is Goose? I would imagine that's a no-no? Especially if you're just adding an "s" to the clue.

Oh you mean as a cluegiver? Definitely a no-no. I thought you meant as a guesser.

you obviously can't give that as a clue.

the question is if the answer is school, but you guess schools, is that correct or not?

oh - maybe that is what he meant. In which case I think Nich has been accepting most plurals as correct

Somehow duped with palindrome for kayak... must have been with vowels guy

And inexpensive/flushable for ramen/goldfish. Thought those were pretty safe

Then Kershaw for pitcher when there's hundreds to choose from. Rough round for dupes, but nice guessing

Ah I was close to goldfish for ages! Annoyed with that one

Should have got Iguana, sorry for that miss.

Aubergine was easy, being English and having lived in America I'm familiar with your way of changing what things are called for no real reason other than ego

Forger was the dupe on blacksmith.

I went with college since it's commonly eaten then, where inexpensive is also implied. We all avoided noodles which is unfortunate, would've made it a gimme I'm sure.

I *almost* said Kershaw instead of Clemens, but wanted to choose someone who played on multiple teams just to eliminate any small possibility of something LA or Dodger related entering the mindset.

Yes I allow plurals but not other forms of the word

So fridge != refrigerator

But car = cars
And goose = geese != gander

I chose Kershaw because eleanor's profile says Los Angeles and I figured he'd know that name even if he doesn't follow baseball.

I follow baseball, in fact most US sports (bb/football college too) except nhl. Even since moving back to England a year ago.

Damn I miss LA and the weather - what id give for 300 days of summer again
