Genres I like: rock, alternative, folk, pop, hip hop, punk

There's a lot of genre's which I've liked some things but other times hasn't done it for me like metal, jazz, classical and funk

Things to maybe avoid: country, one man and acoustic guitar ballads, EDM and coldplay.

But really, if you've found something you like, submit it. I don't want to narrow my submissions too much, last walrus I gave 1st place to symphonic metal, which I'd never heard anything from before and I loved.

regardless, I now have a bunch of cool covers of/by bwslim's favorite bands, so i'm gonna put together a playlist after this is all done: you have Spotify, bwslim?

I struggled with 2019 songs but last night I found my new jam. Adding this to my playlist for sure.

Pub music is hard because I'd like to find something under the radar, but with pub music, shouldn't it be a song that everyone knows the words to?

Yeah, I struggled for a while, then landed on a song that had been submitted to a previous walrus, possibly by himself. I'm not going back months or even a year to check.

I'm submitting my list today or tomorrow. I've decided to submit one in my own category, even though I'm obviously ineligible. But at least PokerCrazy can enjoy it. And I'll share it with you all when I do my reveals.

Anyhow, my original category submission "Family Bands" said that family meant siblings or parent/child, and not cousins or spouses.

But my own submission is a grandparent and grandchild. So if any of you want to submit a song with a grandparent and grandchild for my category, you have the green light.
