Feel free to ask questions of people in the thread about music preferences or about their category.

Let's set a deadline of June 15th to submit although we can go quicker if people want. I don't know what's realistic for people right now.

To submit, just pm me a list of 9 entries ((enter every category but your own and don't send me your entry for me) in one pm with "Walrus Thread 2" in the subject (since there are 2 games going on).

Include for each entry:
Artist Name
Song Name
Youtube Link

Once I receive all entries, i'll randomize order and send everyone the entries for their category.

Then everyone will listen to their entries and rank them and reveal them in this thread sometime in the weeks following.

Things I like: Rock.
I love prog. Like classic rock and new wave of all kinds. Like easy listening and weird pop....I mean there is lots of nondisco happening in that era.

here's the thing. A lot of classic rock hits I have heard a MILLION times and I just don't like some songs anymore because of it. But some I can listen with fresh ears (but probably still won't podium). deep cuts are totally acceptable. Also I will consider submissions by Rush total pandaing. Likewise I have heard them....a LOT. So also little chance of panda.

Hate: Hiphop, most country..;albeit that era was different than the country today. So I might like it. Some country then was lite pop really. But in general I hate twangy obvious good ole boy country.

bolt, dear bolt, could you say again here what you specifically do NOT want and what you would consider pandaing and dock for it?

Sure. No Rush. No Geddy Lee.

Specifically because Geddy Lee/Rush are the bomb and I'm looking for some music I'm not intimately familiar with.

brb gonna have an internal debate for 3 weeks then end up picking a song that isn't even in my top 50 out of frustration
