Feel free to ask questions of people in the thread about music preferences or about their category.
Let's set a deadline of June 15th to submit although we can go quicker if people want. I don't know what's realistic for people right now.
To submit, just pm me a list of 8 entries (enter every category but your own and don't send me your entry for me) in one pm with "Walrus Thread 1" in the subject (since there are 2 games going on).
Include for each entry:
Artist Name
Song Name
Youtube Link
Once I receive all entries, i'll randomize order and send everyone the entries for their category.
Then everyone will listen to their entries and rank them and reveal them in this thread sometime in the weeks following.
hate: hiphop/country
love: rock/newwave/lite rock/easy listening/fusions of things
if you panda iwht something i've heard a million times you will be docked a lot of points. Mainly because lots of songs I've heard a lot i like a lot less than i used to.
My general taste in order: Symphonic metal, singer-songwriter, alternative and hard rock, 90s rap (especially southern), classic rock, 80s love songs, late 90s/early 00s country

My general taste in order: Symphonic metal, singer-songwriter, alternative and hard rock, 90s rap (especially southern), classic rock, 80s love songs, late 90s/early 00s country
things i like: loud girls with guitars, rough-edged country, synthpop, hyperpop, indie pop, indie dance, dance rock, non-ambient electronica, punk, postpunk, jump blues, non-cliched lyrics, quirky stuff, catchy stuff, smart stuff with a sense of fun or humor
things i am unlikely to like: super ponderous indie folk, anything R&B or soul, anything symphonic (metal or otherwise), anything screamo, most high bpm EDM, Top 40 pop, mainstream country, mainstream hip hop, classic rock, arena rock, hard rock, hair metal, smooth jazz, anything very slick and produced
