This artist is arguably the best ambient artist over the last 25 or so years. Great piece picked here and has been used in many soundtracks, etc. Please go listen to all of this artists music if you are at all interested in this genre. He's a genius. Good stuff.

Another artist that is pretty legendary in this space. This too is a very well known piece and for good reason. It is super chill and yet not boring and certainly quite unique. Another artist that I recommend you spend some time with if you are interested in this genre of music.

This piece has a lot of change in it throughout and seems to peak towards the end with all of the musical elements converging together. It really is a classic.

It was a good entry. And if you don't know this category there is certainly a fine line between kitchsy garbage like Yanni or something and some of the greats like Brian Eno or in this thread-Aphex Twin or Boards of Canada.
