I'm 49, Dutchie, went to Spain in 2001 for a project, now permanently live there with Spanish wife, 3 kids and a dog.
I came to 2+2 when cardplayer forum died. Pocketed 30k$ playing poker (full ring nit), quit in time when I saw I was not improving enough. Also **** paying 30% to Spanish taxes. Played my first ww game here, crushed it as a n00b wolf and kept hanging around.

Also I have been smashing viruses, rootkits, trojans etc. in the CTH forum for about 4 years, earning me this undertitle. Now my malware fighting knowledge is obsolete.

I'm resuscitating this thread in case any of the more recent vistitors to POG, or returnees, would be interested.

Poker wise, won a few nightly tournaments in AC. Dominated the home games with friends. That all ended with I met the future mrs dnky. She knows how to keep me in line. Without her, I may be rich right now, or I may be broke right now. I'd rather have her love that either other outcome.

Cool, I wondered what you did, dnky. When my older son first expressed interest in getting into a trade, he was thinking electrician. I told him that was a great idea. When I was in grocery, I went through a few renos and a new build. I don't think there was ever a day when there wasn't an electrician on-site. He's studying to be a machinist.
